FINALLY SOME FOOTBALL............

After numerous postponements due to the freezing conditions the Ryman North division should get back to normal this afternoon with the following matches scheduled -

Brentwood Town V Ilford
East Thurrock United V Potters Bar Town
Needham Market V Leyton
Redbridge V Great Wakering Rovers
Thamesmead Town V Maldon & Tiptree
Waltham Abbey V Tilbury
Waltham Forest V Enfield Town
Wingate & Finchley V Grays Athletic

As mentioned Harlow Town and AFC Sudbury are the divisions only representatives left in the FA Trophy. The cold end sends them the best of luck in their matches versus Woking and Hampton & Richmond Borough.

Town's match, which is definitely ON following an early morning pitch inspection, against Waltham Forest will be our third visit to Cricklefields this season and pits us against The Stags who are currently bottom of the table. An big incentive for the home side who are soon to return to their home at Wadham Lodge is that a win (depending on results in the games involving Leyton and Redbridge) would see them out of the relegation zone. A decent win for Town would see us rise to possibly 9th depending on other results. Following Town's poor record in the last month or so the East London side actually have a better record in the last six games winning one and drawing one whereas Town have only one draw in six.

It will be all to play for over in Ilford as 22nd plays 14th in the league.
