MOANERS - PLEASE SHUT UP!!!

The cold end has not been able to get to the last few games where Town have lost against Potters Bar Town and Wingate & Finchley followed by Tuesday night's draw against Leyton but is reliably informed that in each game the result could of been a win for the Town and with a little bit of luck the results will turn around in due course.

The cold end is a a little angered at some of the negative comments that have been made on the Fans Focus Forum of late but is pleased to see that most of the posts are of a positive nature.

Here is a comparison of Town's record after 13 games over the last three seasons -

           P W D L GF GA GD PTS
2008/09 13 4 3 6 29 34 -5 15
2009/10 13 6 3 4 22 21 1 21
2010/11 13 7 1 5 25 17 8 22

You can see Town are one point better off this season, have won one more game, scored more and let less in... so to all the moaners and dissenters out there posting silly stuff read and divulge the above - then start to support the players and management in a positive manner!!  True fans will know that Steve Newing and the squad aren't actually big fans of losing games - the results will come hopefully starting at Potters Bar Town on Saturday.

Town's next four league fixtures are against Potters Bar Town (currently 7th), Maldon and Tiptree (4th), Grays Athletic (14th but a good side who will finish higher) and Heybridge Swifts (9th)...before facing two lengthy trips into Suffolk to face AFC Sudbury (who are always dangerous despite currently being down in 13th place... A 6-3 midweek victory over M&T demonstrates this perfectly....the cold end thinks they like Grays will finish higher up the league at the end of the season) before the big weekend trip to Needham Market at the beginning of December. Market are shaping up to be the team to beat as if they win all their games in hand over the teams below them they could be 12 points ahead of Thamesmead Town and W&F, 14 points ahead of Town and 17 points off of current 5th placed M&T who have played five more games than the current table-toppers.

Prior to the big match at Bloomfields Market play Great Wakering Rovers (h), Ware (a), Redbridge (h), Grays Athletic (a) and Great Wakering Rovers (a).

Romford in 4th position, who are probably next best placed with two games in hand over the 2nd and 3rd placed teams and have the best defence in the Ryman League at present entertain bottom side Waltham Forest on Saturday. The Stags recorded their first win of the season at the 16th time of asking on Wednesday night with the 2-1 victory over Cheshunt very welcome on the terraces of Cricklefields.  Boro then face GWR (h), Tilbury (a), Redbridge (h) and Potters Bar Town (h) in the league as well as travelling to Boreham Wood in the FA Trophy.

COME ON TOWN!!!
