With 2-1 and 3-1 victories against Harrow Borough and Fleet Town in the last two games Town have played it's all looking good for the big kick off on Saturday against Waltham Abbey. The only setback for the Town is the terrible injury Phil Kane suffered in the game versus Harrow Borough. Phil had looked very good in the game's the cold end had seen and was a guaranteed starter for the Abbey game in my book. The cold end hopes Phil makes a speedy recovery and is back in action for Town soon.
It's been a busy schedule for Wealdstone this pre-season with tomorrow's game being the 11th played -

26/7 - Dagenham and Redbridge L 1-3
28/7 - Watford XI L 1-3
31/7 - Aylesbury W 5-0
2/8 - Hillingdon Borough W 3-0
2/8 - Maidenhead United L 0-1
4/8 - Hemel Hempstead Town L 1-3
7/8 - Slough Town L 1-2
9/8 - North Greenford United W 3-2
14/8 - Wingate & Finchley W 1-2
Last season's top goalscorer Greg N'goyi has been amongst the goals this pre-season for Gordon Bartlett's team. The Stones kick off their Premier Division campaign with a Summer seaside trip to Hastings United on Saturday. The cold end recommends Stone's chairman Howard Krais's excellent blog called The Electric Chair which is well worth a read.
