23 TEAMS NEXT SEASON???

The long running saga of Grays Athletic, who competed in the Blue Square Premier Division last season, was settled today as it looks as though they will play in the Ryman League Division One (North) for the 2010/11 season - subject to certain conditions - one of which is the approval of the FA Leagues Committee which meets tomorrow afternoon.

Athletic will ground share East Thurrock's Rookery Hill ground for the forthcoming season and will face a host of local derbies versus their landlords, Tilbury and Romford to name a few.

The Ryman League are due to release fixtures for the Premier Division tomorrow and the Division One lists issued at the beginning of next week hopefully pending any further change.

So, it appears that Enfield Town's division will run with 23 teams making it a marathon 44 game league season.
