There has been some transfer news in Enfield Town's league this week as Sam Higgins, who was top scorer in the Ryman North Division last season for East Thurrock United scoring 36 times in 36 games, has moved from Rookery Hill to join Blue Square South side Chelmsford City.
The cold end sends Good Luck to Higgins who jumps up two steps of the pyramid with the exciting challenge of helping City try to gain promotion next season.
Higgins is only 19 years old so with a little luck could return to the football league where he started his career as a youth team player with Millwall and Southend United.
John Coventry had already moved to replace the supporter's player of the year before he left by signing Neil Richmond from Great Wakering Rovers who scored twice in Rover's 2-3 win at Goldsdown Road last season.
