AWAY DAYS WITHOUT A WIN!!!

There are four teams in the football league this season without an away win. Premier League Hull City and Burnley along with Championship Peterborough United and League One's Gillingham.

They are all without a victory on the road since at least the start of the campaign back in August.

When will their loyal fans get to see that elusive away victory??? Here is a cold end league table which may give you a clue:
KEY - F/T/S = GAMES FAILED TO SCORE IN

TEAM GAMES DRAWS F/T/S LAST AWAY WIN
HULL CITY 19 4 11 FULHAM 0-1 - PREMIER LEAGUE - 4/3/09
BURNLEY 14 1 1O READING 0-2 - PLAY-OFF - 12/5/09
PETERBOROUGH 17 4 9 COLCHESTER 0-1 - LEAGUE ONE - 25/4/09
GILLINGHAM 17 4 7 ROCHDALE 0-1 - LEAGUE TWO - 2/5/09
NEXT THREE AWAY MATCHES

HULL CITY - EVERTON (7/3) PORTSMOUTH (20/3) STOKE CITY (3/4)
BURNLEY - ARSENAL (6/3) WIGAN ATHLETIC (20/3) HULL CITY (10/4)
PETERBOROUGH - WATFORD (13/3) NOTTINGHAM FOREST (20/3)SCUNTHORPE (23/3)
GILLINGHAM - STOCKPORT (13/3)CHARLTON ATH (20/3) OLDHAM ATH (3/4)
Gillingham probably have the best chance of winning in their next away trip at bottom of the table Stockport County. The Gills home form in very good but for some unknown reason they just can't get a win on the road. Burnley, who have only 1 solitary point on their travels this season face Arsenal next but then go to Wigan Athletic and Hull City which are games I'm sure Brian Laws will have looked at and thought a win is possible.

The Tiger's trip to troubled Pompey may be their best chance in the next three games with Posh's next three trips looking difficult as the team's they face are all strong on their own patch. They have failed to score in their last four away games, Jake Livermore's goal in the 1-2 reverse at Sheffield Wednesday on the 23rd January was the last time they scored away from home.

Posh's attempts on target in their last four league games have gone from six against Crystal Palace to just one attempt in their game at Swansea City on Saturday. Jim Gannon's team looked destined for relegation back to League One after the glory of promotion last year.
