TOWN THROUGH TO SENIOR CUP SEMI-FINAL

Respect to the 70 fans and supporters who turned out at Goldsdown Road last night to see Town win 3-2 against AFC Hayes in the Quarter Final of the Middlesex Senior Cup. Sam Byfield, Adam Wallace and the returning Stuart Blackburne were on the score-sheet.

We now face the Blue Square South Staines Town at home in the Semi-Final with the other last-four game being Uxbridge V Northwood. Games due to be played week beginning 8th March.

Elsewhere, Maldon Town ran into returning first team forward Scott Vernon for Colchester United who swept them away with a hat-trick in the league side's 7-1 win in the Essex Senior Cup.

Lowestoft Town cemented their hold on the top spot with another win on Tuesday night, Joe Francis was on the score-sheet again, The forward has now scored in all five matches he has played for the Trawlerboys with a current running total of an amazing eight goals. The Suffolk side are now surely Champions elect leaving Town in a group of around ten clubs (all the way down to Tilbury in 11th place) fighting for the four play-off positions making every game from now until the end of the season exciting for Town fans.
