SNOW WIPES OUT RYMAN LEAGUE FIXTURES

ONLY GAMES AT THE PILOT FIELD AND CROWN MEADOW ESCAPE THE ICY CONDITIONS

As expected the snow and ice has wiped out the fixture list in the Ryman League today with only two matches confirmed as ON across the three Divisions.

On the South Coast Hastings United take on Boreham Wood in the Premier Division and the game between Lowestoft Town and Thamesmead Town in our North Division is the only other game confirmed on.

The Trawler Boys have underlined their title credentials this week announcing the signing of Joe Francis from Blue Square North Corby Town. The Striker has always scored goals wherever he has played and was named Southern League player of the year in 07/08 when he netted 23 times for Premier Division Champions Kings Lynn. Francis has signed a 2 and 1/2 year contract at Crown Meadow.

All the games in the Spartan South Midlands League and Essex Senior League are all off so it's either braving the High Street for some last minute Christmas shopping or stay in the warm in front of the telly!! The cold end is opting for the second option.
