Dulwich Hamlet V Enfield FC - 1972 Enfield FC travelled to the historic old Champion Hill ground on this day in 1972 sitting in 3rd place of the Isthmian League; The game kicked off at 4pm to allow Enfield's England Amateur International players to recover from taking part in the England V Ireland international game which was played the evening before. I bet they didn't complain about two games in two days like today's modern footballers moaning about two games in a week!!!
