TOWN LOOK TO TEACH THE SCHOLARS A LESSON

Ex Town assistant Adam Lee brings his Potters Bar Town side to Goldsdown Road for a local derby on Saturday. The Scholars will be on a high from their 4-1 midweek victory in the FA Cup at Cockfosters.

Potters Bar include in their side ex town stopper Jason Willis and midfielder Gaz Dauti who the cold end thinks was one of town's better players last year.

The team from the 'South Mimms Travel stadium' have had the following league results so far this season:

15/08 Tilbury (away) W 1-0
18/08 Redbridge (home) L 0-2
22/08 Harlow Town (home) w 1-0
25/08 Thamesmead Town (away) L 1-2

Last year Town went down 2-1 in the away game versus PBT on 22/11/2008 and in the home game on 28/03/2009 won 3-1 thanks to one goal from Ryan Edgar and Ellis Remy's brace in front of a healthy crowd (considering our league position at the time) of 249.

Elsewhere at Top of the table East Thurrock United have a tough game at home to Romford and the game of the day is 2nd plays 3rd at Lowestoft Town who entertain Northwood. 4th place Thamesmead Town play Ilford at Bayliss Avenue. Some tough games for the top team's who could drop points this weekend therefore a victory for Town would move them closer to the summit for the league.

Steve and Del will know these are the games the team need to win if they are going to be in the shake-up at the top of end of the league come the end of the season.

The cold end will be present and 100% behind the team.

Up the Town!!!!!!
