FA CUP GLORY UP FOR GRABS IN LOCAL DERBY

Enfield Town travel the short distance to play Waltham Abbey tomorrow in the FA Cup 1st Qualifying Round. Abbey were promoted via the play offs to the Ryman Premier last season and have recently appointed ex Ware and Harlow Town manager Glen Alzapiedi in the hot-seat, They have won 1, drawn 4, and lost 2 of their opening 7 games. Their one victory coming via a 2-1 win away against Bognor Regis Town on 29th August., Last week they drew 1-1 against an improving Kingstonian at Kingsmeadow. Harry Elmes has been in good form scoring 3 goals in 5 starts.

Last season Town beat Abbey 2-0 on 27/12/2008 at Goldsdown Road thanks to goals from Rudi Hall and Jeff Hammond, In the return match on Easter Bank Holiday Abbey won 1-0.

It'll be a tough battling game at Capershots but the cold end hopes Town can pull off a victory to continue our FA Cup run.

UP THE TOWN!!!
