Town looking to drive away with a win versus the Motormen

Town travel to Oakside on Tuesday night to face Jay Deveraux's Redbridge side who have so far won 1 drawn 1 and lost 1. Their record is as follows:

15/08 Wingate & Finchley (home) 0-0 att:31
18/08 Potters Bar Town (away) w 2-0 att:41
22/08 East Thurrock United (away) L 3-0 att:157

Last year the Motormen finished a respectable 8th with 18 wins from 42 games and a total of 64 points, this after a great third place finish and penalty heartache in the play offs in 07/08 under Dean Holdsworth who departed for pastures new.

Ex Ilford player Carl Bruce has netted the only two goals so far this season. They also have Nathan Scarborough up front who scored an amazing 64 times in 27 starts in Sunday football, most of last year was spent in the injury room but he is back this season and the cold end thinks he is a very dangerous player for town to look out for. Redbridge also have ex Enfield centre back Simon Peddie and two players from last season's ESL champion's Romford (Ben Turner and Ricki Machin) among their ranks. Andy Edmunds (not the old Enfield player) was a substitute for them on Saturday.

Jay Deveraux's teams are always well organised and hard working so it'll be a tough game in prospect. If Town can play like they did in the first half against Tilbury the cold end is confident 3 points can be won.
