PRE-SEASON TRAINING STARTS

Traditionally it's the time of year that some football players dread - many clubs up and down the country have started their pre-season campaign earlier this season as some leagues start their season on Saturday 30th July with the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round being played on Saturday 6th August. 

Above shows some of the forty players who turned up for Essex Senior League side Ilford's first training 'open trial' session which began with a gruelling four and a half mile run/initiation test. 

The Foxes have a number of pre-season games set up starting with one next Tuesday evening at Debden Sports which is designated as a trialist game kicking off at 7pm.
