HERTFORDSHIRE SENIOR COUNTY LEAGUE CONSTITUTION FOR 2013/14

The Hertfordshire Senior County League constitution has been announced for the 2013/14 season and the details are below.

Promoted from Division One are Bedmond Sports and Social. The all conquering Aslan FC (Champions of Division One and winners of the Aubery Cup) have withdrawn from the league with their management and many players moving over to FC Broxbourne Borough of the Spartan South Midlands League Division One. Premier Division champions Metropolitan Police Bushey have now been renamed "Bushey Sports Club".

Division One has a number of new teams. Cheshunt Ambers, Codicote Sports, Tansley and Welwyn Garden City Reserves have joined. The Ambers and Sports are teams connected with Ryman Division One (North) Cheshunt and Spartan South Midland League Division One Codicote. Tansley, after spending their first season since re-forming in the North and Mid Hertfordshire League, now move up to this level of football. Unfortunately the N&MH league has folded due to falling member numbers.  

 

Division One continues to have a strong Hatfield feel to it with AFC HATFIELD, HATFIELD TOWN 1886 and HATFIELD SOCIAL all representing the town. PANSHANGER and WGC RES will also compete in two eagerly anticipated WELWYN DERBY games.
