WHY THE COLD END IS CALLED 'THE COLD END??

To answer the question many people have been asking.............................

The cold end is named after the far end of the ground at Goldsdown Road which some supporters have noticed is much colder than the end of the ground nearer the turnstiles.

Can you think of anywhere better than being freezing cold on a Tuesday evening in February watching a Middlesex Charity Cup game in the pouring rain......where else would you want to be??? THE COLD END.
