'The Pride of Norfolk' Mulbarton Wanderers make their debut at Step Five of the non-league ladder with a game against Mildenhall Town. The club were only established in 1993 when the youth team of then Anglian Combination side Mulbarton United broke away to form their own youth team. They then merged with Harford Belles girl's team in 2001 and only established a men's team in 2001 joining Division Dour of the Central & South Norfolk League. They joined the Anglian Combination in 2009 and achieved six succsessive promotions playing in the Premier Division in 2015. They joined the Thurlow Nunn league in 2018 and now play in the Premier Division for the 2021/22 campaign. 

Former Cambridgeshire County League side Lakenheath also make their debut in step five with a home local derby game against Thetford Town.
