NUMBERS - A FEW FACTS ABOUT THE ESSEX SENIOR LEAGUE THIS SEASON

ONE - Sporting Bengal United only have one victory away from home which came on Wednesday 8th October at Greenhouse London in a 0-1 win. 

ZERO - Barking are yet to be beaten away from home in thirteen league games played.

TWENTY-SEVEN - Hullbridge Sports isn't the place to go if you're looking for goals. In their eleven home games so far just 27 goals have been scored with 18 from Sports and 9 against.

TWO - Tower Hamlets, Eton Manor, Southend Manor and Sporting Bengal United all only have two home wins. SBU have the lowest home win percentage of these clubs on 11.76%.

EIGHTY-EIGHT - Haringey Borough have scored 88 goals in their 27 games played so far. A total of 3.26 goals per game. Ironically the worst defensive team are SBU who have let in 88 goals per game in their 30 games played.

THIRTEEN - Bowers and Pitsea are the form side of the division being unbeaten in thirteen games. In those games they have scored 56 goals equating to an amazing 4.31 goals per game.

SIX - Mathematically only six teams can still win the league who are Barking, Haringey Borough and Bowers and Pitsea along with Hullbridge Sports (possible points total of 82), Stansted (76) and Clapton (75). Third palced FC Romanina can't win the league as they can only get to 73 possible points and as you can see Barking already have 74 points.

What a game coming up under the lights at The Len Salmon Stadium a week on Thursday as the two title challengers go head to head. This is a must win game for the away side. This hotly anticipated game should be a well attended game.
