FIVE STAR PERFORMANCE FROM TOWN AT ROMFORD

No highlights tonight as unfortunately the cold end couldn't make it to the Romford game but can report it was an excellent performance from the Town who won 0-5. Jon Moore, Rudi Hall (pen), Neil Johnston, Walid Matata all scored for the Town along with an Own Goal.
This was the first time Romford have conceded five goals in a home league game since Saturday 29th March 2008 when Barkingside won 2-5 in an Essex Senior League game.

Ware's surprise 1-1 draw at Leiston means Town are back on top of the league. Ryan Mattos's late strike for Ware gained only their third point away from Wodson Park this season. Potters Bar Town got their second good result of the week when they put five past AFC Sudbury and they seem to be hitting a bit of form which Steve Newing and the team will be well aware of  and prepared for when Town travel to The South Mimms Travel Stadium on Saturday 21st January. Tilbury replace AFC Sudbury in the play-off zone who are followed closely by Brentwood Town (who visit the QE STAD next Saturday) and Harlow Town.
