LOCAL NON-LEAGUE ROUND UP ON A MONDAY

FREE SCORING HAWKS WIN WAY IN STYLE
Many fans had HARLOW TOWN at favourites for the Thurlow Nunn First Division South title over the summer and they opened their season with an impressive 7-0 victory over Newbury Forest but then stuttered as they lost 0-1 at home to Rayleigh Town and draw 0-0 at home to  Hoddesdon Town.  They have since got back to winning ways recording a 2-0 win over FC Baresi and then last Friday 1-5 at Cannons Wood where the home side had two players sent off just prior to half time. The Hawks host Dunmow Town on Tuesday and then start on the Road to Wembley in the FA Vase with a home tie against Essex Senior League side Ilford.

GOALS, GOALS AND MORE GOALS AT AS LONDON
In the same division the newly named ALL STARS LONDON (formerly Park View FC) could be a team to watch if you like goals at either end! Their last three games have ended 2-4, 5.2 and 2-3. They have "The White Hart Lane Derby' on Wednesday evening as they make the very short trip from The New River Stadium to Coles Park where NW London currently ground share. NW London went down 4-1 at Hackney Wick at the weekend with The Wickers in great form winning all five of their games so far.
HATFIELD DERBY THIS TUESDAY EVENING
It was a great start to the season on Saturday for both Hatfield based clubs in the Herts Senior County League Division One as HATFIELD ATHLETIC Athletic won 4-1 against Letchworth Garden City Eagles u23s where Craig Wichelow netted a hat-trick. HATFIELD UNITED opened with a impressive 6-1 win over Sandridge Rovers and it all set things up nicely for the Hatfield Derby on Tuesday evening where Athletic host United. The game is taking place at The Morris Playing Fields in London Colney with a kick off of 6.30pm.

EL NENY FC MAKE THEIR HERTS SENIOR COUNTY LEAGUE DEBUT
There was a new name in the Herts Senior County League Premier Division at the weekend as EL NENY FC drew 2-2 with Hertford Heath in their season opener. The team were formed and are Managed by former Arsenal midfielder Mohammed El Neny with the aim to give players who have been released by professional clubs a second chance. They go to Cockfosters Reserves on Tuesday evening so a few Gunner's fans might pop along before hosting Apsley Argyle on Saturday.

THE ROOKS THE ONLY SIDE LEFT WITH A 100% WINNING RECORD IN THE ISTHMIAN PREMIER
LEWES, under the new management of Craig Nelson, are the only team left in The Pitching In Isthmian League. It's been a fantastic start for the former Glebe FC manager at The Dripping Pan with a 2-0 home win over Chatham Town, a 1-0 away win at Bognor Regis Town and a 2-1 home win over Hashtag United on Saturday. Former Folkestone Invicta and Chatham Town midfielder Eddie Allsopp has two goals along with defender Matt Warren also on two - He played for both Sevenoaks Town and Ramsgate last season. For their next game they have a trip to Cray Wanderers new ground to look forward to next Saturday
FROM FURTHER AFIELD..........
LLANTWIT MAJOR who made many friends last season playing in The Fenix Trophy played their fourth JD Sports Cymru South game last Friday evening away at Trefelin BGC - They were 0-1 up at half time but it was the home side who came back to win 3-1 with none other than Lee Trundle, now aged 47, scoring twice!  It's amazing to see the former Wrexham, Swansea City and Bristol City forward still playing the game he clearly loves.  Last season he was with then third tier side Mumbles Rangers but has moved back around Swansea Bay to re-join Trefelin BGC who are based in Port Talbot for the 24/25 campaign.

Llantwit Major's next game is away at Afan Lido on Friday evening with Trefelin BGC also on their travels on the same night making the journey to Trethomas Bluebirds.
Last season's Lowland League Champion's EAST KILBRIDE have started their 24/25 campaign very well and will be wanting to go one better than they did last season. EK lost the play-off final against Stranraer who won 5-3 on aggregate to preserve their Scottish League status. This season they have won four and lost one of their opening five games - the only defeat coming away at Cumbernauld Colts. They have netted 24 goals and let in just 4. Former Queens Park midfielder Calum Bigar has netted five goals with Cameron Elliot, who has played for Stranraer and Dundalk, also on five. Tiwi Daramola, a new signing from Kelty Hearts for this season, is close behind on three goals.

FINALLY, SPARE A THOUGHT FOR...
THE 61 FC (LUTON) have had a large squad turnover during the summer and have lost their opening two Spartan South Midlands Division Two league games. On the opening day they lost 8-0 at Stony Stratford Town and then at the weekend lost 2-6 at home to Newport Pagnell Development. There were 0-4 down at half time but showed some good character and determination in the second half with Rezaul Rob netting two goals. It's a tough game next Saturday as they host Old Bradwell United who were D4 Champions in 21/22 and 22/23 as well as finishing 3rd last season - they have won their opening two games 3-0 at home to Stony Stratford Town and 0-1 away at Sarratt.
