Essex Olympian League Premier Division side Harold Wood Athletic have announced the appointment of Alex Goldstone as their new first team manager.
Goldstone was formerly the Assistant Manager of Istmian League side Romford and then manager of Barkingside when they were in the Essex Senior League. He left his post there in April 2019.
He will be joined by former Harold Wood players Stuart Williams & Joe Benson as his assistants for the 2020/21 campaign.
Wood have been Premier Division champions recently in 2009, 2010 and 2015. When football was suspended in March Wood were bottom of the Premier Division table with a league record of five wins in eighteen games.
The Cold End expects to see the team further up the table for next season and wishes Alex and his assistants the very best of luck.
