There is a huge game in the Thurlow Nunn First Division South this weekend at Coles Park as table topper's Halstead Town visit second placed Hashtag United. After drawing two and losing two of their opening games Hashtag have now won six leagues games in a row scoring nineteen goals and letting in seven. Halstead Town have won seven of their opening nine games with their only points dropped in a 2-2 with May and Baker on the opening day of the season and a 0-4 home defeat to Coggeshall United on Tuesday 11th September. Hashtag have won one and drawn two of their three home games with Halstead Town having a 100% winning record away from home winning four out of four. It's a great game in prospect and should be well attended too.

Little Oakley, Newbury Forest and May & Baker still represent the division in the Buildbase FA Vase.

Little Oakley host Enfield 1893, Newbury Forest host Newport Pagnell Town and May & Baker host North Greenford United in the next round. All three clubs had fantastic results against teams from Step five in the last round with Newbury's 0-2 result at Clapton and May & Baker's 1-4 win at Saffron Walden Town really impressive.

Hackney Wick  and Little Oakley are the only sides left without a defeat with Brightlingsea Regent Reserves and Wormley Rovers still to get their first win.

The league table is a little misleading at present as if teams below the current top two (in particular May & Baker) win their games in hand they could go above them.

LEADING GOALSCORERS
Jordan Heath (Harwich & Parkeston) - 9 goals (in 7 games)
Jordan Pavett (Halsted Town) - 8 goals (in 9 games)
Nick Hughes (Frenford) - 7 goals (in 8 games)
Karl Swanborough (Burnham Ramblers) - 6 goals (in 7 games)

There is an added bonus for people attending the game (especially if you're into your gaming) on Saturday as @SpencerOwen has announced he will give away seven copies of FIFA 19 IF Hashtag United win their seventh league game in a row. Raffle tickets will be given out as you enter and a draw will be made at the end of the game should they be victorious.
