WELL PLAYED KINGSTONIAN + BOSTIK PREMIER MIDWEEK FIXTURES

You'd had to have been living on Mars over the past 24 hours not to know the result of the opening day of the Bostik Premier Division which lit up social media. At this current time the K's official club tweet of the result has been re-tweeted 708 times and liked a further 1,500 times since it was posted. Lewis Taylor (who scored the winner for Tonbridge Angels in the 2011 Premier Division play-off final) scored the only goal of the game in the 90th minute. Craig Edwards team is back in action tomorrow evening at 'home*' to Burgess Hill Town who recorded a 1-1 draw at home to Needham Market on Saturday.

For title favourite's Billericay Town it's a long trip to the Suffolk coast to face Lowestoft Town on Tuesday evening where they will be looking to get their first three points of the season before a massive game at Champion Hill next Saturday against Dulwich Hamlet.

Merstham were top scorers of the day netting four times against Wingate and Finchley. Alex Addai scored twice for The Moatsiders.

* The K's are ground-sharing with Leatherhead after moving out of Kingsmeadow
