RYMAN PREMIER AND DIVISION ONE (NORTH) IN THE FA CUP - UPDATE

After the weekend's FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round games there are no Spartan South Midlands or Essex Senior League sides left in the competition. Leverstock Green (at Staines Town), London Tigers (at Needham Market) and FC Romania (at home to Sutton United) were all knocked out. All three teams can be very proud of their FA Cup runs this season and it's not disappointing to lose to teams from higher up the pyramid system.

RYMAN DIVISION ONE (NORTH)
NEEDHAM MARKET v Witham Town
Kingstonian or ROMFORD v Enfield Town or Eastbourne Borough
Blackfield and Langley or Willand Rovers v AVELEY
Harrow Borough v WALTHAM ABBEY

Three teams from the Ryman Division One (North) are definitely through to the third qualifying round with a possible fourth in Romford who have replay against Ryman Premier Kingstonian at Kingsmeadow tonight. Needham Market and Waltham Abbey both face teams from the Ryman Premier in Witham Town and Harrow Borough with Aveley making a trip into the unknown where they face the winners of the Blackfield and Langley (of the Wessex League) versus Willand Rovers (of the Toolstation Western League Premier Division). Blackfield are based just outside of Southampton with Willand a little further away near to Exeter in Devon.

RYMAN PREMIER DIVISION
BILLERICAY TOWN v Weymouth
Needham Market v WITHAM TOWN
KINGSTONIAN or Romford v Eastbourne Borough or ENFIELD TOWN
GRAYS ATHLETIC v Bromley
Dorchester Town v HENDON
Barton Rovers v CANVEY ISLAND
Dorking Wanderers or Biggleswade Town v MAIDSTONE UNITED
EAST THURROCK UNITED v Bishops Stortford or Tooting & Mitcham United
HARROW BOROUGH v Waltham Abbey
WINGATE AND FINCHLEY v Havant and Waterlooville

Nine Ryman Premier Division sides are definately through with Kingstonian and Enfield Town maybe joining them after their midweek replays. Both Margate (lost 1-2 at home to Calor League Division One Central Barton Rovers) and Tonbridge Angels (lost 2-1 at Division One South Redhill) suffered shocks against sides from lower down the pyramid with Maidstone United scoring a last minute goal to beat Brentwood Town 2-1 at The Gallagher Stadium.

Two more wins for the teams still involved and it's a possible money spinning first round proper tie against a football league side.
