The club has made some eye catching signings.

Gary Alexander has dropped down from the football league where he played for Burton Albion, AFC Wimbledon and Crawley Town last season. He was interim manager for The Red Devils.

Goalkeeper Craig Holloway has also joined. Ryman League fans will recognise his name as he was player/manager at Margate last season. He has also played for Welling United in the Conference South, Bromley, Southend United and Dartford amongst other clubs.

The club's website (link here) reports that Edgar Davids has also been in talks to play next season.

Borough's player/manager is also a name fans of Ryman League football will recognise in former Cray Wanderers boss Ian Jenkins.

Ashford United, last season's runner's up, will be considered one of the favourites for the title along with Erith Town (3rd) and Tunbridge Wells (4th).

Nineteen of the twenty teams have entered the FA Cup with the Extra Preliminary Round taking placed on Saturday 16th August -

Fisher fans look to have the best trip with a journey down to the Sussex seaside to face Selsey. If Greenwich Borough beat Lancing they will face a home tie against the winners of the Erith Town v St Francis Rangers tie. This game is scheduled to take place on Sunday 31st August as landlord's Dartford are are home on the Saturday. This could be a good chance for ground-hoppers and fans to get a look at Greenwich's squad. This is of course a big IF as Lancing will want to progress as well!
