KENT INVICTA LEAGUE 2014/15

The constitution for the Kent Invicta League 2014/15 season has been finalised recently at the league's AGM. The league was founded in 2011 to bridge the gap between the Southern Counties East League (formerly the Kent League at Step 5) and Kent County League (Step 7). There will be sixteen teams as follows -

1. BEARSTED
2. BRIDON ROPES
3. CROCKENHILL
4. ELTHAM PALACE
5. GLEBE
6. GRAVESHAM BOROUGH
7. HOLLANDS AND BLAIR
8. KENT FOOTBALL UNITED
9. LEWISHAM BOROUGH (COMMUNITY)
10. LYDD TOWN
11. MERIDIAN VP
12. ORPINGTON
13. RUSTHALL
14. SEVEN ACRES AND SIDCUP
15. SHEPPEY UNITED
16. SUTTON ATHLETIC

There are a few changes this year in that Sheppey and Sheerness United have reverted back to their old name of Sheppey United and Fleet United have changed name to Gravesham Borough. Last season's champions, Gillingham based Hollands and Blair FC, were denied promotion to the SCEL due to their Star Meadow Sports Club failing on ground regulations despite an appeal to the Football Association.

Since formation the league has seen 11/12 Champions Bly Spartans move up to the SCEL and become Rochester United and 12/13 title winner's Phoenix Sports also move up to the SCEL.

Seven Acres and Sidcup will be ground sharing with Thamesmead Town for the 2014/15 season.
