BIG CUP GAME FOR THE LIMERS

A CHANCE FOR GLORY FOR BRIMSDOWN FC

Brimsdown FC face the biggest game of their short history tomorrow afternoon when they entertain Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division Harefield United to The Downs Pitch. The Limers, as they are nicknamed, play two levels down in Division Two of the SSMFL and face The Hares in the First Round of the League Challenge Cup.

Gary Sumsion's young side have played six league games so far winning one game at home to New Bradwell St Peter (6-1) and drawing 2-2 away at Tring Corinthians. The other four have been lost against Kent Athletic (2-0), Pitstone and Ivinghoe (2-1), The 61 FC (2-0) and Hale Leys United (4-2).

Harefield United are in seventh position in the Premier Division. They have lost just three of their eleven league games so far so it's a very tough game in prospect for Brimsdown but I'm sure their young side will give it 100% and hope to cause a cup upset.

GOOD LUCK TO THE LIMERS!!!
