LOCAL SIDES FACE BLUE SQUARE PREMIER BIG BOYS

The only Ryman Division One (North) side through to the Fourth Qualifying Round have been paired with Blue Square Premier Ebbsfleet United in the draw for the FA Cup with Budweiser today. Redbridge with welcome Liam Diash's side to Oakside in what will be a highly anticipated game.

There was a little bit of cup history made just a stones throw from Enfield Town's game at Great Wakering Rovers on Saturday. Southend Manor's 5-0 demolition of Leighton Town made them only the second Essex Senior League side to get through to this stage of the competition. Canvey Island done it in 1993 and lost 1-3 at Conference side Kettering Town. In an ironic twist Manor have been drawn away to The Poppies! The game at Nene Park will be Manor's eighth game in this season's competition.

The Cold End salutes both Redbridge and Southend Manor and congratulates them on their cup exploits so far!!

It was also brilliant to see Ryman Premier Division Hendon hitting the jackpot by drawing Luton Town. Many Hendon fans will be making the short trip from North London to Kenilworth Road hoping to see a Cup upset???
