RYMAN LEAGUE KICKS OFF TOMORROW AFTERNOON

The Ryman Division One (North) 2011/12 season kicks off on Saturday with Enfield Town making the trip to East London to face Ilford at Cricklefields. The full fixture list for the Division tomorrow afternoon is as follows -

The Ilford management of Colin Walton and Bert Hoyte have been busy in the summer assembling a new squad with twelve new players joining the twelve players that were retained from the last campaign in which The Foxes finished second bottom to local rivals Waltham Forest.

Former Olympic high jumper Dalton Grant has been helping out with fitness training during a pre-season that finished with a double header of games against Snaresbrook and Middlesex County League side FC Rumania. The first game finished 1-1 (the Ilford goal coming from Adam Bolle) with the second game ending 5-0 (goals from Richard Simpson, Derek Hawtin, Tom Kemp and Rob Carter(2)) In their last six league home games at the end of last season The Foxes won 3 drew 1 and lost 2 scoring 8 and letting in 11 goals.
