FORMER TOWNER PROMOTED TO PLAYER/COACH AT ETON MANOR

The cold end sends out congratulations to former Town player Danny Alleyne who has been given the role of player/coach at Essex Senior League side Eton Manor. He has been with the club since late 2008 and will be working alongside Manager Kevin Durant. Manor, who last season played at Barking's Mayesbrook Park, will play the 2011/12 season at Waltham Abbey's Capershotts.

ABBOTT THE NEW BOSS OF ERITH & DARTFORD TOWN

Elsewhere, a name which all fan's of Enfield FC in the 1990's will know has been given the manager's job at Kent Invicta League side Erith and Dartford Town FC. Gary Abbott, who left the manager's position at Ryman Division One (South) side Sittingbourne at the end of last season, joins the club for the inaugural season of the Kent Invicta League.

The new league season kicks off on Friday 19th August when Abbott's new side entertain neighbour's Phoenix Sports. Erith and Dartford Town currently ground share at VCD Athletic's Oakwood ground. The game kicks off at 7.45pm with the home side producing a special programme to mark the occasion.
