SPARE A THOUGHT FOR LOWESTOFT ALBION??

Lowestoft Albion play in the Notley's Lowestoft and District League Division Three which is a Saturday league based as the name suggests in and around the Lowestoft area. Their league playing record this season reads -

P  W  D  L  GF  GA   GD PTS
20 0 0 20 6 220 -214 -3*
* deducted three points for playing an ineligible player

They kicked off their season on the 4th September with a 20-1 defeat against Harleston Town Reserves and followed this up with a 11-1 defeat (at home to Oxford Arms Reserves) and a 18-0 defeat (away at Westhall). Unfortunately for them the defeats kept coming with results 4-0, 15-0, 14-1, 17-0, 6-1, 6-0, 8-0 (cup match),7-0, 7-0, 11-1, 10-1, 21-0, 14-0, 19-0, 6-0, 5-0, 6-0 and finally 3-0 this past Saturday against Southwold Town Reserves (more about the seaside club on the cold end soon) who themselves are second from bottom in the table.

They have only hit the back of the net on six occasions this season and haven't scored in their last seven games.

They have three games left this season against Oxford Arms Reserves, Westhall and Carlton Rangers.

Normanston Park is the place to go to see goals with an average of 11.3 goals per game that the Albion have played.

Can what seems like the impossible happen and Lowestoft Albion win one of their last three games??

The cold end will keep you updated.

  1. Im the Chairman of Albion and am quite surprised to see us mentioned here! lol Our average squad age is 17 and we have been playing all season in an adults league but we recently played Westhall and lost 6-4. We'll get that win ;)
