THE MOTORMEN IN TOWN TOMORROW

Redbridge FC visit Goldsdown Road tomorrow in another must win game for Steve Newing's Enfield Town side. Despite their lowly position in the league (currently 16th) they have been getting some good results of late which has seem them pull away from the relegation zone - that was until a 2-1 defeat at local rivals and bottom of the table Waltham Forest on Wednesday night. Since the beginning of February their form has read LLDDDDLWDLWWL which indicates the game in midweek may have been a one-off. The Motormen have ex QPR, Everton, Swansea City, Colchester United, Brighton & HA and Wycombe Wanderers Kevin McLeod in their team amongst others so Town will need to be at their best to get the all important three points. They are actually above Town in the current form table in 6th place.

Jody Brown in the boss at present after Dave Ross started the season in charge at Oakside with Kris Taylor also having a stint as manager in between.

The game of the day comes at the arena where third placed Brentwood Town entertain seventh placed Maldon and Tiptree in a real play-off six pointer. Table Toppers East Thurrock United can edge closer to the title with a victory at Scraley Road against Heybridge Swifts with second placed Needham Market needing three points to keep the pressure up in their game against Romford at Bloomfields. The two Championship rivals play each other next weekend at Rookery Hill.

At the bottom of the table Waltham Forest need to follow up their midweek win with another victory at home to Ware and hope Ilford slip up at Tilbury. Ware lost the services of ex Towner Luke Marshall who has signed for Harlow Town in midweek whereas Stags boss Wale Ojelabi  has been very busy in the last week signing no less than nine players including the vastly experienced Marvin Samuels from Grays Athletic who was influential in the midweek win.
