THE COLD END PRESENTS "FOOTBALL FOR FREE IN LONDON"

Much has been written elsewhere detailing the high ticket prices you have to pay to see Premier League and football games in the higher eschelons of the English game and how some fan's are simply being priced out of the game. The Cold End is a fan of all football at all levels but none more so in the non-league where the average admission price for an adult ticket in Enfield Town's Ryman Division One (North) league are around £8.00. Good value for money in my book with many club's promoting the family game by allowing children in for nothing or £1 which is always good to see. But............

.............Watching the news these days makes glum viewing with stories of financial cutbacks and double dip recessions always cropping up - so with this in mind the cold end is delving into the various Saturday and Sunday London football leagues where you can just walk up and watch without the hassle of forking out a small fortune - in effect 'Football for free in London'.

The cold end has already written about 'The Ilford and District League' along with the 'Essex Olympian League' and 'Middlesex County League' where some club's do produce programmes to charge a small amount for admission but is pleased to say there are a number of other leagues that many football fans won't be aware of.  The 'Football for free in London' campaign will bring you the details of those leagues and promote the grass routes game in the Capital and surrounding areas.

Keep reading the cold end to find out more!
