FORMER E'S MANAGER UP FOR THE NOTTS COUNTY JOB

Former Enfield FC (and England) player-manager Peter Taylor has recently declared himself interested in the current vacancy at Notts County following the swift exit of Hans Backe from the club. If Sven stays at The Magpies as reported and Taylor gets the job it'll be remarkable to think two ex England bosses are in-charge at a League Two side.

Here is a article from the Enfield Independent's "UP THE E'S" section from January 1991 which brings back memories of the season Enfield FC had under Taylor where Paul Furlong remained loyal to the relegated E's and played alongside Taylor and Martin Robinson up front.

Unfortunately it's a familiar defeat versus the E's somewhat bogey side Aylesbury United on January 5th that the paper reports on.
