...the following excellent website on the history of Enfield FC's gone but not forgotten near neighbours Walthamstow Avenue 1900-1988. I never got the chance to visit Green Pond Road before it was demolished in the late 80s (bit too young) but i'm sure their are still a few Town fans who remember the old Enfield FC matches with the Avenue in the 60s and 70s at Green Pond and Southbury Road.
