The Cold End says....

The scenes from inside and outside of The Boleyn Ground last night were shocking in what had been a very nasty atmosphere building up all day in the local area according to the the cold end's West Ham correspondent. Those that carried out this violence are SCUM and need to be dealt with in the harshest way possible. They are not football fans they are animalisict moronic yobs.

Grown men, some aged between 40-50 who should know better were seen throwing bottles, bricks, coins and anything they could get their hands on as they fought with each other and the police. Local residents and innocent fans ran in terror of this senseless, savage and shameful behaviour.

The statue of Bobby Moore near to Upton Park was boarded and covered up for the night, The England Legend who loved the game would of been ashamed of what occurred.

As well as the perpetrators being brought to justice The Cold End states the following punishments should be handed out:

1) Both West Ham and Millwall should be removed from the Carling Cup for the next 5 years.

2) If the clubs play each other in the future the match should be played behind closed doors in an undisclosed foreign country.

These punishments are harsh on the real supporters who love the game and support their team without fighting and rioting but a stance needs to be taken to rid our wonderful game of this behaviour once and for all.
